What kind of support is offered?

Homeless prevention, emergency food, emergency housing, installing wheelchair ramps, roof maintenance (if at risk of homelessness), systems advocacy, mental health peer support and case management.

Is ORH an official 501c-3 nonprofit organization?

We’ve been a 501c-3 since 2017.

How can I volunteer?

Operation Rebuild Hope can use your time!
Our volunteers are dear to our cause and are always appreciated. We would have never been able to accomplish what we have done so far without the help of our volunteers. 
To start the volunteering process, you will need to fill out our volunteer application. Please reach out to our organization for additional information on what is currently needed and how you can be apart of our cause.

What type of donations are you accepting?

We are always accepting new/used bedding and linens, items for our Angel Bags (snacks, travel size toiletries, socks, ziploc bags, handwarmers, ponchos, etc), deodorant, razors, combs, lotions, hand sanitizer, bottled water, non perishable food, clothing, shoes, headwear, backpacks, gloves and scarves, furniture and working appliances.
We accept cash and check donations along with gift cards.

iS THIS A SOBER LIVING PROGRam?

Yes. Operation Rebuild Hope is a clean and sober program. Residents are required to remain free from alcohol, marijuana, and illegal substances and comply with testing requirements.

Is there a cost to parcipate?

Residents with income may be required to pay a program. Details are explained in depth during intake and outlined in the program agreement.
Program fees are based on a small percentage of the veteran's net income.

Am I eligible for ORH?

To be considered for placement, the Veteran must:

Be eligible for VA Grant & Per Diem (GPD) services

Be experiencing homelessness or housing instability

Be able to function in a shared, communal living environment

Be willing to participate in case management and program requirements

Be willing to comply with a clean and sober housing environment
